Candace Mak has been appointed to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as an Associate Judge
It is our pleasure to announce that Candace Mak has been appointed to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as an Associate Judge.
During her time as a lawyer at Scargall Owen-King LLP, her practice focused on expropriation law, assisting public authorities and landowners facing expropriation.
Candace obtained her LL.B., Cum Laude, from the University of Ottawa where she was the Editor-in-Chief of the Ottawa Law Review. After completing her articles, she worked closely with judges as a judicial law clerk for the Ontario Superior Court. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2011.
Candace has an Associate Diploma (ARCT) from The Royal Conservatory of Music in Piano Performance, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English, with High Distinction, from the University of Toronto.
We congratulate Associate Justice Mak on her well-deserved appointment.
